Whereabouts: Phuket, Thailand

Whereabouts: Phuket, Thailand

Phuket is homebase for the next four weeks while I work on getting my 120+ TEFL/TESOL in-class hours.

I was in Phuket six years ago for a hot second and all I can remember were seedy night clubs, aggressive ladyboys, and too much tequila. Not much has changed seeing as I’m in the hub of Phuket’s extracurricular activities, the very infamous Patong Beach area. If the program wasn’t the second-best TEFL course in Thailand and really affordable at that, believe me, I wouldn’t be here. Fortunately, motorbike rentals are everywhere allowing the chance to easily escape to some beautiful neighboring beaches with soft sand and unbelievably clear water.

Also, after a month of separation, I’m finally reunited with my love and partner-in-crime for the next six months!

Bangla Road Phuket

Reunited at last!

So thankful to have someone to share this experience with and who put their life on hold for the time being in order to make this trip happen. Not only is Tim always willing to be by my side, he also is the one who constantly reminds me to take pictures and encourages me to write annndddd he set up my GoPro so footage is on the way! Its our first time on the road together so wish us luck but without a doubt, I know great things lie ahead of us 🙂
